Refractory Lining Hexmesh
Hexmesh is a hexagonal metal mesh used to reinforce wear-resistant materials lining industrial equipment, named after its resemblance to the back of a turtle. Its core function is like steel bars in concrete, which are welded to the inner wall of the equipment to firmly fix the fire-resistant and wear-resistant lining material, effectively preventing the material from cracking or falling off under high temperature and high-speed airflow erosion。

Hexmesh Main Features
Unique structure: The flat steel strip is stamped into a regular hexagonal three-dimensional grid, and the mesh holes have raised "mud claws" that can tightly grasp the lining material like hooks, enhancing the anchoring force.
Good flexibility: The hexagonal mesh holes are interconnected, allowing the turtle shell mesh to easily bend according to the inner walls of equipment such as boilers and pipelines, with high adhesion.
Stable performance: It can significantly improve the overall connection strength of the lining material, solve the problem of traditional insulation layer peeling and falling off, and greatly extend the service life of the equipment。

hexmesh specifications:
The specifications of turtle shell mesh can be customized according to specific needs, and the common range is as follows:
Board thickness :1.0 mm -3.0 mm
Mesh size :2 cm -6 cm
Mesh height :1 cm -2.5 cm (some can reach up to 5cm)

Flexible Hexmsh
Hexmesh Material selection
The choice of material mainly depends on the working environment of the equipment, especially the temperature:
Carbon steel (such as A3F): suitable for general temperature areas such as reactors, flues, etc., with high cost-effectiveness.
Stainless steel (such as 1Cr13, 0Cr18Ni9): suitable for high temperature (700 ℃ -1600 ℃) or corrosive environments, such as regenerators,
cyclone separators, etc.
Special alloys (such as S31008): used in scenarios with higher end or special corrosion requirements
Application field:
Turtle shell net is the "behind the scenes hero" in heavy industry to ensure the safe operation of equipment, mainly applied in the following fields:
Power industry: coal powder conveying pipelines in thermal power plants, combustion chambers in circulating fluidized bed boilers.
Petrochemical industry: Cyclone separators, regenerators, and reactor liners in catalytic cracking units.
Steel and cement: Strong wear parts such as the feeding chute of the blast furnace, the air duct from the grate cooler to the electrostatic precipitator, and the vertical mill shell.
